Cloudflare acting up?

Cloudflare is in the way, not helping

This usually shows up as one of a few things:

• The site worked until Cloudflare (or a proxy) was turned on
• An SSL or “too many redirects” error appeared after setup
• Changes made in your host's control panel don't seem to take effect
• You're not sure if Cloudflare is even doing anything, or what it's for

Almost always one of five things

• The SSL mode in Cloudflare doesn't match how your host is configured
• A page rule or redirect rule is looping or misapplied
• DNS records in Cloudflare are out of sync with your actual hosting
• Caching is serving an old, stale version of the site
• The orange “proxied” toggle is on (or off) when it shouldn't be
